To raise future leaders and strengthen family bonds through timeless principles and the pursuit of excellence in tennis.
At ROGace, we believe sports are more than just games—they’re a training ground for life. That’s why we combine world-class tennis instruction with core values that build character, boost confidence, and reinforce the family unit.
We stride towards lasting happiness that comes from pursuing growth with purpose.
We see tennis as a path to the development of inspiring character.
We empower parents with clear direction for their child’s long-term success.
We champion joy, excellence, resilience & gratitude.
We are committed to advancing 12U tennis through innovative simplicity.
At ROGace, we coach children—not just a sport.
We believe tennis is a powerful vehicle for building character, confidence, and connection. That’s why every session goes beyond strokes and footwork. We focus on joy, purpose, and personal growth.
We don’t chase quick wins or short-term thrills. We avoid the “chocolate for breakfast” approach—momentary highs that ultimately fail our kids. Instead, we commit to timeless principles, practiced with intention every day.
We work closely with parents, providing guidance that supports each child’s long-term development—on and off the court.
And while our coaches are trained in technical excellence, what matters most to us is their heart—their alignment with our mission and their ability to lead with integrity, care, and joy.
I didn’t set out to become a children’s tennis coach.
Early in my coaching career, I focused on high-performance juniors—the world I knew best from years of competitive play. I steered clear of younger players because, honestly, I knew they’d see right through me. I had no formal training in working with kids—something surprisingly common in tennis. In this industry, if you’ve got a basket of balls and know the lingo, you’re suddenly a coach. But children deserve more.
Everything changed when I joined the John McEnroe Tennis Academy and trained under Mike Barrell, one of the world’s top experts in U10 development. His structured, child-centered approach opened my eyes. I saw just how overlooked this age group was—and how joyful, meaningful, and powerful it could be when done right. That’s when I made the commitment to become the kind of coach this space truly needs.
At ROGace, we protect the 6–11 age window like sacred ground. It’s not just about tennis—it’s about shaping character and strengthening family bonds. Sure, we teach forehands and footwork. But more than that, we nurture resilience, joy, and long-term growth. We’re not here for gimmicks or fluff. I often say we don’t serve “chocolate for breakfast”—because kids don’t need more sugar highs. They need real nourishment.
I’ve also learned that parents aren’t just spectators—they’re multipliers. When they engage with joy and intention, everything grows: confidence, learning, connection. That’s why we partner with parents—guiding them to lead off the court, while they trust us to lead on it.
And our coaches? What matters most isn’t their résumé—it’s their heart. We can teach technique. But passion, integrity, and alignment with our values? That’s non-negotiable.
Every now and then, I’ll get a message from a former student—someone I haven’t seen in five or ten years—telling me I made a lasting impact on their life. That’s what I’m here for. That’s why ROGace exists.
Quick Background:
Tennis has been a part of my life since 2009, when I picked up a racquet in Texas and never looked back. From the beginning, I knew this sport would always play a big role in shaping who I am.
During my years at the University of South Florida, I had the opportunity to lead one of the largest college club tennis programs in the country—over 250 members strong—while also coaching in the local community.
That experience taught me how tennis builds not just athletes, but connection, leadership, and growth. I was honored to receive the USTA Florida Leader of the Year Award for my work both on and off the court. Around the same time, I also became Head Racquet Customization Specialist at Tennis Talk in Tampa, serving both the USF men’s and women’s teams.
Since then, I’ve earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), a Master’s in Anatomy, and an MBA—while continuing to build my tennis impact through tournament operations and youth coaching. No matter what I’ve pursued, tennis has remained my foundation. It’s given me so much, and I feel a deep responsibility to pay that forward.
At ROGace, I love the purpose behind every detail—whether I’m on court, training coaches, organizing logistics, or welcoming families. I thrive on helping things run smoothly so kids can focus on learning and coaches can focus on teaching. But my favorite moments? They happen on court. When a player lights up with confidence, when we laugh through drills, when I see their resilience start to grow—that’s why I do what I do.
I believe in structure with flexibility, expectations with empathy, and communication with care. A great coach doesn’t just teach the game—they create a space where kids feel seen, parents feel heard, and the whole community rises together.
Whether I’m greeting families, adjusting the net, or leading a session, my goal is simple: be fully present, lead with purpose, and make sure every child knows they matter.
Quick Background:
At ROGace, our coaches aren’t just instructors—they’re mentors with a mission.
Each one is handpicked for their passion to impact young lives through sport and their unwavering belief in the power of character-building. This isn’t just a job. It’s a calling. We operate with the mindset of a purpose-driven team—people motivated by heart, not just a paycheck.
Before stepping onto the court, every coach completes a comprehensive training pathway designed by Wojtek. They study our philosophy, observe sessions for two full weeks, and gradually transition into teaching—first alongside a mentor, then under direct supervision. Even after onboarding, our approach remains hands-on to ensure every coach continues to grow in alignment with our values.
We emphasize joy, connection, and purpose in every class—and our coaches are trained to lead with those principles at the forefront.
Most of our team comes from two powerful sources: parents who’ve seen the transformation ROGace creates and feel inspired to contribute, and former ROGace students who return to give back. That generational spirit is part of what makes ROGace more than a program—it’s a community.
While our coaches don’t email parents directly (we keep communication streamlined through leadership), their energy, care, and presence on the court speak volumes. Every group, every moment, every smile—they’re here to serve.
